About the Panelist:
Lee Chick is a Tax Principal in BerryDunn’s Bangor office and is a member of the firm’s Tax Consulting and Compliance Group. With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, Lee is the firm’s go-to resource on taxation of timber transactions, providing advice and best practices to his colleagues and clients. Lee provides consulting services on income tax and retirement plans to clients in a wide variety of industries including the forest products and real estate industries.
Lee helps clients with a variety of issues including accounting for income tax, employee benefit plan compliance and compensation packages, multi-state and international tax planning, and sales and use tax reporting.
A graduate of the University of Maine, Lee belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Employee Benefit Council, and the Forest Landowners Tax Council. Lee is also involved in the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and the Bangor Public Library, Board of Trustees.
