Maine Real Estate & Development Association Elects New Board Member

Portland, Maine – Matt Early of Scarborough has been elected as board member of the Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA), a statewide organization of commercial real estate owners, developers and related service providers.  Founded in 1985, MEREDA promotes responsible development and ownership of real estate in Maine through legislative advocacy, educational programs and professional networking opportunities.

Matt Early is Senior Vice President of the Business Services Group at Gorham Savings Bank and has been with the bank since 2001.  Matt’s banking career began in 1992 with Peoples Heritage Bank following his graduation that same year from the University of Maine where he earned a BS in Business Administration.  Matt later earned his MBA in 1996 from New Hampshire College. 

Matt is an active member of the Biddeford Saco Rotary Club having held various Board and Committee positions since 1996.    

Matt’s community services and memberships additionally include:  Board Member for the University of Maine Alumni Chapter of Southern Maine, Vice Moderator for the First Congregational Church of South Portland, and Vice Chair for the University of Southern Maine Corporate Partners, and youth soccer coach.
