On Wednesday, October 5, 2011, join MEREDA on a guided tour of the new Brunswick Landing: Maine’s Center for Innovation at the former Naval Air Station Brunswick. With over 200 buildings totaling over 1.6 million square feet of commercial and industrial space, two 8,000 foot runways, and extensive broadband infrastructure, Brunswick Landing is one of Maine’s most significant development opportunities in years.
Guests will be asked to gather promptly at 4:30 PM at "Hangar 6" (2 Pegasus Street) to board a bus for the guided "Windshield Tour". After the tour, MEREDA invites you to an After Hours Social Event in Hangar 6 of the Brunswick Executive Airport featuring live music, hors d’oeuvres and spirits. Built in 2006, this impressive hangar is over 165,000 square feet and is home to Kestrel Aircraft Company and FlightLevel Aviation.
Steve Levesque, Executive Director of the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority will be on hand to discuss the many valuable assets that are available at Brunswick Landing.
