Oftentimes, when we contact tenants to discuss their plans for the future, they will respond “We have well over a year on our current lease and it’s too early for us to consider alternatives.” We then need to educate them, without appearing to be an over eager sales person, that they really do need to pay attention to the issue now, as a successful business move takes time, and lots of it.
