On May 1, MEREDA is proud to host its Second Annual Bowl-a-Thon Fundraising Event at Bayside Bowl in Portland. “Strikes for Scholars” will support scholarships for Maine students enrolling in the building trades, architecture, engineering, construction, or business programs at Maine’s community colleges. Partnering with the Maine Community College System, our goal this year is to raise enough to fund at least one scholarship at each of the state’s seven community colleges and to support Maine students as they prepare for careers that promote MEREDA’s mission of responsible development and ownership of real estate throughout the State.
The event includes a silent auction of assorted sports, entertainment, and dining items including a special surprise sports celebrity guest presented by AAA Energy. All proceeds will benefit the MEREDA scholarship fund.
We have secured our 20 teams and we’re ready to bowl!
Join us on May 1 to cheer on our bowling teams, bid on some exciting silent auction items, support a worthy cause and have some fun at the same time!
