Martin is executive director of the Manufacturers’ Association of Maine and leads the effort to build the Manufacturers’ Association as an economically strong industry through partnerships and collaborations with other industries, with state and federal agencies and organizations and within the manufacturing industry.
Jeanne Hulit, President of Village Candle, is responsible for managing and growing the 24 year old manufacturer of premium scented candles from their location in Wells, Maine.
And, Greg Hastings, SIOR is a Broker and Partner at NAI The Dunham Group. Greg has worked exclusively in the industrial real estate market for 30 years.

About the Panelists:
Jeanne A. Hulit joined Village Candle Company as President in May, 2017. She is responsible for managing and growing the 24 year old manufacturer of premium scented candles from their location in Wells, Maine. She most recently served as President of Northeast Bank’s Community Banking Division in Maine. Prior to joining Northeast Bank, Jeanne served on President Obama’s Cabinet as the Acting Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration in Washington, DC from September 2013 to February 2014. Before being asked to lead the Agency, she oversaw the SBA’s $100 billion dollar loan guarantee program as Associate Administrator for SBA’s Office of Capital Access, and served as New England Regional Administrator. Jeanne joined the Obama Administration in 2009 following an 18 years career in commercial banking in Maine.
Lisa G. Martin is executive director of the Manufacturers’ Association of Maine and has 20+ years in economic, workforce and business development. Since 1989, Lisa has had extensive experience with businesses, state and federal agencies, education institutes and Maine’s workforce. She leads the effort to build the Manufacturers’ Association as an economically strong industry through partnerships and collaborations with other industries, with state and federal agencies and organizations and within the manufacturing industry.
Greg Hastings, SIOR is a Broker and Partner at NAI The Dunham Group. Greg joined the Dunham Group in 1987 and has worked exclusively in the industrial real estate market for 30 years. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College (1983) and the University of Maine School of Law (1987). In 1993, he was the 2nd broker in the state to be awarded the prestigious SIOR designation. He is a past board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Portland, the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors and is also a Trustee Emeriti of Waynflete School in Portland.
