Granite State Development Corporation and its subsidiary, New England Business Finance, is a Certified Development Company operating in New England. Granite State is a private, not-for-profit company which was established to administer the SBA 504 Loan Program throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.

The SBA 504 Loan Program enables small businesses to acquire long-term subordinated debt at below market rates. By working together with local banks, we have become the largest CDC in Maine and throughout New England, providing more that $750 million of 504 financing, while leverage more than $1.8 billion in project costs, to over 2,500 small businesses in New England since receiving certification in 1982.
