We are excited to announce that MEREDA’s DevelopME Committee is partnering with The Real Estate Learning Group to bring you this accredited event approved by the Maine Real Estate Commission for Three Clock Hours of Continuing Education Credits for Real Estate Licensees.
About the Event: This course provides a review of antitrust laws and their impact on the real estate industry. Participants will gain a clearer comprehension of and communicate more effectively about licensee compensation with clients. Additionally, the program covers listing and buyer agreements, explains the distinctions between customer and client statuses, enhancing participants’ knowledge and professional practice in the real estate field.

On October 17th, MEREDA will host a breakfast event featuring a discussion with founding members of Maine’s new soccer team, Hearts of Pine. The panel, including Catherine Culley, Gabe Hoffman-Johnson, and Kevin Schohl, will delve into the journey of establishing the team, highlighting the challenges and successes of introducing this global sport to Maine. The discussion will be moderated by Marieke Thormann, VP of Development at Fathom Companies, and will also cover the anticipated economic impact on the local community and the broader regional development.
