About the Event: MEREDA is honored and excited to invite its membership to “Breakfast with the Mayor of Portland, Mark Dion”. A welcomed opportunity to engage in a discussion about the role of this leadership position within our community, and discover what we can learn about each other. Mayor Dion is thrilled to join MEREDA at this early and formative moment in his 4-year term to ensure he hears what matters most to our membership. MEREDA’s president, Shannon Richards of Hay Runner will sit down with Mayor Dion for this interview-style discussion.

The future of our communities has never been more important. This gubernatorial race brings housing, economic development, and affordability to the forefront. Commercial and residential real estate are at the center of these conversations—from expanding housing opportunities and supporting local businesses to revitalizing downtowns and strengthening our economy. This conference gives each candidate the opportunity to present their vision and solution for these important issues.
This event will be informative for MEREDA members and all Maine voters. It will also help set the stage for the next four to eight years of housing and economic policy from the Blaine House.
