Maine Real Estate & Development Association Recognizes Retiring Board Member

The Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA) has announced that Bruce Jones of Cumberland has retired from MEREDA’s Board of Directors after 7 years of service.  Becoming active in MEREDA in 2010, Bruce has had several roles within the organization.  He has served as one of MEREDA’s vice presidents since 2015, has co-chaired the Conference Committee and served on the Executive Committee.  Bruce was awarded MEREDA’s President’s Award in both 2011 & 2016.

Bruce has worked in the commercial furniture industry for over 20 years, serving in various sales, management and business development roles. Since starting with Creative Office Pavilion in 2004, Bruce has worked with business owners and managers to provide creative furnishing solutions that support their business objectives.

“MEREDA relies heavily on its volunteer board and committee members, and Bruce has been a dedicated volunteer and contributed with enthusiasm on every level,” commented Shelly R. Clark, MEREDA’s Vice President of Operations.  “From endless brainstorming to expert panelist coordination and ultimate execution of MEREDA’s trademark conferences, this commitment to MEREDA’s vision and mission has earned Bruce his third President’s Award for 2019”!

Bruce announced his retirement from both Creative Office Pavilion and the MEREDA Board at the end of 2019.  He plans to spend more time with his family, enjoy his many outdoor passions and continue his volunteer work with the Rotary Club of Portland.
