About the Event:
Dr. Habib Dagher will provide an overview of the 55,000 ft2 GEM Factory of the Future currently under construction at UMaine. The facility will usher in a new era for smart manufacturing research and training. It will be used to scale-up the production of 3D printed homes and boats, and train the workforce to operate such new factories. The facility will develop convergent manufacturing methods that bring together multiple manufacturing processes, digital twins, sensors, and AI to produce “born certified” systems.
You won’t want to miss this one! Join MEREDA on December 16th to learn more about the exciting happenings at the University of Maine!
Refund Policy: Your RSVP is requested by December 9. Payment is expected at the time of registration. No refunds will be granted to anyone who registers, but fails to attend, or who cancels after December 9.
Everyone that parks on the USM Campus in the Bedford Street Garage has to use the digital parking system. You can pre-register for your parking session or do it upon arrival. Commit your license number to memory! You’ll need it to complete your parking session. To avoid a parking citation, you must begin your digital parking session – and pay – within 10 minutes of parking.
